Internships

START WORKING BEFORE YOU START WORK!

↗️India has the third largest higher education system, after US and China.

↗️We have over 900 Universities and over 45k affiliate colleges.

↗️At any point of time, we have over 20 million students enrolled in higher education.

↗️The tragedy is that hardly 25-30%
are employable, because they lack the necessary employability skills.

↗️A study done by Indeed, had also shown that Indian students are more vulnerable in a Skills Economy.

↗️The pandemic has only made competition stiffer, with rising unemployment & talent pool, and shrinking job market.

↗️The Gig economy is also here to stay.

↗️The net result has been that 87% of graduates have had to look at internships.

↗️Even others, with some experience, have had to opt for part time jobs.

↗️This is seen as a good way to pick up skills and build networks, which may later lead to a job.

↗️It also gives you fodder to speak about what you were doing, while waiting to get a job.

↗️The IT industry, is also set to employ 50k part-time workers.

❓Do you see this, as a trend for the future and shape if things to come.
