This topic has gained traction, with the arrival of Tik Tok resumes .

Growing number of job seekers and companies  are turning to Video  resumes , though, less so in India, at the moment.

The key points to remember

1.  Prepare bullet points, don’t ramble.

2.Know your target audience – don’t just cast a wide net.

3. Start with a Video hook to capture attention

4. Don’t look for Perfection; just Do It Anyway!

5. Don’t worry about being judged, especially if ageism is a problem.

People will judge you anyway.
You’re better off, filtering them out, at the start.

Video gives you more control over the variables.

You get to put your ‘best foot forward’.

You can make a powerful first impression, BEFORE the interview

Especially, advantageous for introverts.

Even if you’re nervous at the interviews, this impression, can be cancelled out, by a confident video seen in advance.
Trends show, that companies will increasingly ASK for videos.

Even in India, while this is not the norm today, it could well be the way to go in future.
