❓Employee Loyalty under threat?The ‘1 Job, 1Company’ concept is no longer relevant.
‘Job’ has embraced many meanings.
Gig workers, On line workers, offline workers, project workers, full time employees – who work for part
of the year, Professionals who work as consultants etc.
Given this scenario, creating a culture of loyalty to the Company can pose a challenge.
Traditionally company loyalty was considered critical.
Leads to perseverance, dedication, pride, respect, willingness to learn, better team working.
Enhances the Company brand, attracts talent, improves customer experience, etc.
Given the multiple constructs of ‘jobs’ and ‘work’, will organizations have to rethink ways of building bridges between these different groups?
