✅Research shows that attitude is a positive leadership quality.
✅Leaders need to have strong analytical and technical skills. The need to be confident without a ‘know it all’ attitude.
✅Rather they need to be inclusive, accommodative, open to diversity of opinions, and change of mind.
✅Intellectual humility is a critical factor in a leader’s success. Knowing what they don’t know, that they don’t have all the answers
✅A dual focus on empathy & social obligation (read diversity, inclusion sustainability) as well as rigour.
✅Fostering a culture that can live with perennial uncertainty. Not fixated on their own perspectives, opinions and decisions.
✅Research shows that ‘narcissistic leaders’ don’t get ahead faster. Besides they hurt the company’s culture. They may even leave a legacy of problems when they are gone.
✅Today more than ever before, with the challenging times of the last few years we need Confident leaders without a toxic Attitude.
✅Rather we need Confident Leaders who are also great Listeners.
